Termination users' shared mb not protected by INKY

We have an offboarding process of converting an user’s mailbox into shared. I recently discovered that these shared mbs are removed from INKY protected mailboxes. I was told even adding to include will remove it during overnight sync. Ideally, we would like all the mailbox protected via INKY.
